Who we are

Fire for the Lord BBQ is a family-owned barbecue restaurant and food truck at 8707 Wesley St, Greenville, Texas 75402. This policy explains what information we collect through fireforthelordbbq.com, how we use it and the choices you have. Questions? Call (903) 455-4730 or email fireforthelord@gmail.com.

Information you give us

Catering quotes. Your name, phone number, email (optional), event date, guest count, the service you want, event type and location, and anything else you tell us.

Food truck bookings. Your name, phone number, email (optional), event date, expected crowd, booking type, event name and address, and any details you add.

Messages and prayer requests. Your name, email, the reason you are writing and your message. Prayer requests are kept between you and our family; we never share or post them.

We do not take payments or orders on this website, so we never collect card numbers here.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and troubleshooting.

To keep spam out of our inbox, our forms run a few automatic checks when you press Send, such as how long the page was open and how many messages came from the same connection in the last few minutes. These checks do not store your name or contact details. If a message looks like a sales pitch from a vendor, we keep the sender's email and a short excerpt so we can still reply if it turns out to be real.

If you click Accept All on our cookie banner, we also use Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) to see how visitors find and use the site, such as which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located (city or region) and what kind of device they use. If you click Deny, Google Analytics does not set its cookies. We do not use advertising pixels.

Cookies and browser storage

• cookiez-user-consent (necessary): remembers your cookie choice so the banner doesn't keep appearing. It lasts up to a year.
• _ga and _ga_… (analytics, only if you accept): set by Google Analytics to tell visits apart. They last up to two years.
• __cf_bm (functional): a short-lived security cookie (about 30 minutes) set by Cloudflare on the Elementor service that runs our cookie banner, to filter out bots.
• Accessibility settings (stored in your browser, not a cookie): if you use the accessibility button to change text size, contrast or similar options, your browser remembers them for your next visit.

You can review your choice at any time: change cookie settings. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser.

How we use your information

• To answer your question, prepare your catering quote or book the food truck.
• To call, text or email you about your order or event.
• To pray for you, if you sent a prayer request.
• To keep the website secure and free of spam.
• To understand how the website is used and make it better (only with your consent).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the services that help us run the website, and only as needed:
• Our web host stores the website and its database.
• Elementor (Site Mailer) delivers the emails our forms send and keeps a delivery log. Elementor also provides our cookie banner and accessibility tools.
• Google (Gmail) is our business inbox, where form messages arrive.
• Google Fonts supplies the lettering on our pages, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads.
• Google Analytics receives usage information, only if you accept analytics cookies.
• EffectMedia, our website manager, may see form messages while setting up and testing the site.

Links to Facebook, Google Maps and news websites take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies. We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Form messages stay in our email inbox for as long as we need them to serve you, plan future events or keep business records. The email delivery log and spam log keep only recent entries. Ask us any time and we will delete your messages.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Call (903) 455-4730 or email fireforthelord@gmail.com and we will take care of it.

Children

This website is meant for adults planning meals and events. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
